QA Manager

Position Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Location: College of Advanced Vocational Training (CAVT), Amman – with field visits to branches
Reports to: CEO
Supervises: QA Specialists, QA Officers in Campus and VTIs

Contract Type: Full-time

Job Objective:

To establish and lead a robust, scalable Quality Assurance system for CAVT that supports institutional and program-level accreditation, ensures training quality, compliance with standards, and continuous improvement across all branches and technical domains.

  • Design and implement CAVT’s QA Framework in line with national and international standards.
  • Lead development and roll-out of internal QA policies, SOPs, checklists, and tools.
  • Oversee the institutional readiness for national accreditation (NQF), ISO certifications, and international awarding body recognition.
  • Work closely with the M&E team and MIS specialists to integrate QA data and performance reporting into CAVT’s information systems.
  • Coordinate quality audits, field inspections, and internal evaluations across branches and labs.
  • Provide technical guidance and capacity-building support to QA Specialists and Officers.
  • Manage documentation, improvement plans, non-conformance reports, and feedback systems.
  • Contribute to trainers’ evaluations, and stakeholder satisfaction monitoring.
  • Support preparations for external audits and certifications (e.g., ISO 21001, ISO 9001, and other sector specific certifications.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Engineering, Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in QA or institutional development (preferably in education or TVET).
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, accreditation processes, and competency-based education.
  • Strong project management, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital MIS/QMS platforms and data analysis tools.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to design scalable QA systems aligned with institutional goals.

  • Analytical & Results-Oriented: Using data to drive decisions, monitor trends, and report performance.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in documentation, audits, and accreditation files.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Working effectively with trainers, directors, certifying bodies, and field staff.
