Industrial Mechanics Technicians are responsible for the assembly, maintenance and repair of technical devices, machines and systems in manufacturing companies. They also monitor and support the production process.
They are skilled in constructing mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and restoring their functionality in case of malfunctions. Industrial Mechanics Technicians manufacture small parts from metal or plastic, assemble them into subassemblies and produce complete devices. They also guide customers in the proper use of the equipment.
