Strong service orientation is essential, as maintenance and repair are a regular part of their daily responsibilities.
HVAC and Building Automation Technician (Level 5)
HVAC and Building Automation Technicians ensure that residences and commercial buildings are supplied with water, heat and fresh, cool air. They plan and install ventilation, heating and water supply systems, including the necessary supply and discharge lines. Their responsibilities include building installations such as central heating systems, hot and cold drinking water supply, water pumps and sewage systems. They install sanitary ware in bathrooms and kitchens, as well as hot water heaters powered by gas, electricity or solar energy. They maintain and repair these systems and check them for leaks.
