Technicians for Industrial Mechanics are responsible for the assembly, maintenance and repair of technical devices, machines and systems in manufacturing companies. They also monitor the production process.
They are able to build mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and to make them functional again in the event of malfunctions. The industrial mechanic manufactures small parts from metal or plastic, assembles them into subassemblies and produces complete devices from them. They guide customers in the use of the device.
